Dr. Emilio J. Alfaro will attend tomorrow January, the 9th to the meeting organized by the Royal Astronomical Society about "The Kinematics of Star Formation: Theory and Observation in the Gaia Era". He will give a talk titled "Looking for kinematic substructures in open clusters: The case of NGC 2264".

From 20th to 22nd of May, it was held in Palermo the GREAT Workshop "Young Clusters in the Gaia-ESO Survey". Doctors Emilio Alfaro and María Teresa Costado attendanced to this meeting. They presented their last advances on Gaia-ESO Survey topic as oral and poster contributions.

GAIA mission launch is scheduled for 9:12:19 GMT (10:12:19 CET) on 19 December. The launch will be covered live for broadcasters in an open general public session at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía (IAA) meeting hall, from 9:30h to 12:00h. 

At 19:00h we will go back the Lucas Lara Conference Series with the presentation titled "The measure of the universe. The GAIA mission", given by Dr. Emilio J. Alfaro (IAA-CSIC). Free entry. Place: IAA Meeting Hall.
